Ravello View B is situated high on one of the spectacular hills of Scala. Located a few steps from Lattari Mountains, Scala faces the Valley of Dragone (360 metres above the sea level), nearby Ravello.

The village was founded in the IV century BC by Roman shipwrecked while going to Constantinople. Scala took part in the vicissitudes of the Maritime Republic of Amalfi and, as many other towns around the Amalfi Coast, it reached the maximum splendour thanks to the great number of marvellous buildings and churches. From Scala, lovely walks will let you reach outstandingly beautiful towns, like Santa Caterina, Campoleone, Campidoglio, Atrani, Minuto and Pontone.

There is a charming chestnut wood surrounding the town, which is just a perfect point of interest for mountain and horse-riding lovers. You will have the possibility to ride horseback, starting from the manège "Lo Sperone", until the area "all'acqu' o' vreccial" (Bracciale dell'Acqua). Going across these amazing green spaces you will feel the sea breeze, that blends with under-wood scents.

Staying at Scala, you will have the great opportunity to organize a short mountain itinerary. You will need a specific authorization from the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, normally released in Caserta. Then continue to Pogerola (close by Amalfi), going across the Valley of Ferriera.

Shops and restaurant are about 1 Km. away.
The bus stop is just 50 m. away and from here the SITA Bus line goes to Ravello - 2 Km. and Amalfi - 7 Km.

From Amalfi SITA buses connect all the Amalfi Coast towns, and also ferry boat to Capri Positano and Sorrento Coast.
If you are fond of hiking, from this property there are steps all the way down to Atrani or Amalfi, with amazing views.
Pompeii, Herculaneum and Paestum are easily within reach.

Check-in procedure

Check-in times between 3 pm. and 8 pm. Arrival after 8 pm. can be arranged at a Late Arrival charge of Euro 55,00.
Breakage deposit is required in cash only upon arrival = Euro 300,00, and refunded on departure day provided no damages occur.

Local Supplements

Highchair and Cot with linen are available at weekly supplement of Euro 35,00 payable locally.
If required, Heating or Air Conditioning supplement is Euro 100,00 per week.
Welcome pack service charge Euro 10,00 - Our English speaking local agent in Italy provides a personal shopping service for food items which they deliver to the accommodation prior to your arrival. This is not a set welcome pack but is tailored to your individual requirements. You will need to pay in cash on arrival at the property, so please ensure you have taken enough Euros with you. How to get there

There are several ways to get to the Scala / Amalfi Coast from Naples Capodichino Airport or Naples / Salerno Train station either by renting a car or by public transport.
It is also possible to arrange private transfer directly to Scala/property.

Once at the property you can get around fine without the car as parking in the towns is hard to come by and expensive. Public Busses operate year-around connecting Ravello to Amalfi, where are busses to all the Amalfi Coast villages and Sorrento area.
Ferries (from May to October) operate a service between Amalfi – Positano – Sorrento – Capri Island – Naples and Salerno.

Bookings / Payments: Within option expiry day 30% deposit is required in order to confirm the booking. Balance payment is due 45 days prior to arrival date.
Cancellations and Curtailments by the client: Once payment is received and voucher (Booking Confirmation) issued, any amendments or cancellations will incur the following charges:
Cancellation fees:
10% From date of confirmation, up to 45 days prior to rental commencement period.
50% 44 – 30 days prior to rental commencement period.
90% 29 – 07 days prior to rental commencement period.
100% less then 7 days prior to rental commencement or during period.
