Sant' Agnello, small hamlet of Internationally known, famous holiday resort Sorrento is only 3 Km. away with its restaurants, bars and shops. Boat trips to the Isles of Capri and Ischia; and along the Amalfi Coast with its equally world wide known pretty resorts of Positano, Praiano, Amalfi.

Famous, Internationally known Cooking School of the Neapolitan Riviera is in S. Agnello too !

Sant' Agnello di Sorrento is located between Piano di Sorrento and Sorrento itself overlooking the Gulf of Naples. This splendid small town is geographically really old, it dates back indeed to the Quaternary Age. One can see the numerous tuffaceous deposits due to the numerous volcanic eruptions of Mount Vesuvio. Sant' Agnello has many monuments, the first one is located in Piazza Matteotti, the Town hall or Piazza Municipio. In the middle of the Piazza, surrounded by lovely public gardens, among palm trees decorating the splendid background, there is the notable War Memorial made by Giovanni Nicolini representing an infantryman lying with sword and shield in hand.

The Church of the Most Holy Prisco and Agnello is a beautiful place of cult, consecrated in 1827 and dedicated to the Virgin Mary Pure Heart. Inside one can admire a great painting made by Gustavo Mancinelli in 1873 and representing the Madonna holding the infant Jesus, with the S. Prisco and Agnello in worship attitude.

Piazza S. Agnello is the very centre of S. Agnello, with the homonym church in front of it and Corso Italia on the right hand side. Corso Italia is actually the National Road SS145 called Sorrentina that crosses, apart from S. Agnello, the charming villages of mea di Sorrento and Piano di Sorrento.

S. Agnello in Summer will captivate and surprise you with the fantastic party of the sea, know as FESTA DEL MARE, dedicated to art, music and local fine gastronomy.

The nearest railway station (Circumvesuviana line to Pompeii, Naples) is also in S. Agnello.

The nearest beach is the pebble beach of Sant' Agnello (600 m.). The Amalfi Coast / Positano is about 14 Km. away, The distance to Naples is 55 Km.
A car is not necessary if you are staying in this villa. However there are frequent and regular SITA bus service, to Sorrento as well as to Positano and Amalfi.

Check-in procedure

Check-in times between 3 pm. and 8 pm. Arrival after 8 pm. can be arranged.
Breakage deposit is required in cash only upon arrival = Euro 300,00, and refunded on departure day provided no damages occur.

Local Supplements

Highchair and Cot with linen are available at weekly supplement of Euro 55,00 payable locally.
If required Continental Breakfast supplement is Euro 7,00 per person.
Welcome pack service charge Euro 10,00 - Our English speaking local agent in Italy provides a personal shopping service for food items which they deliver to the accommodation prior to your arrival. This is not a set welcome pack but is tailored to your individual requirements. You will need to pay in cash on arrival at the property, so please ensure you have taken enough Euros with you. Municipal Holiday Residence Tax payable locally in cash: Euro 1,00 per person per day.

How to get there

There are several ways to get to the Sorrento Coast from Naples Capodichino Airport or Naples / Train station either by renting a car or by public transport.

It is also possible to arrange private transfers from airport / train station to S. Agnello / property.
Ask us for quotation.
Once at the property you can get around fine without the car as parking in the towns is hard to come by and expensive. Public Busses operate year-around connecting to Sorrento centre as well to the Amalfi Coast villages.
Ferries from Sorrento to Amalfi – Positano operate a service from May to October, while to Capri Island and Naples, operate all year around.

NOTES

Rental tariff includes consumes of electricity, gas, water, bedroom and bathroom linen with weekly change, air conditioning, central heating, Internet access, enclosed car park, use of s. pool.

Bookings / Payments: Within option expiry day 30% deposit is required in order to confirm the booking. Balance payment is due 45 days prior to arrival date.
Cancellations and Curtailments by the client: Once payment is received and voucher (Booking Confirmation) issued, any amendments or cancellations will incur the following charges:
Cancellation fees:
10% From date of confirmation, up to 45 days prior to rental commencement period.
50% 44 – 30 days prior to rental commencement period.
90% 29 – 07 days prior to rental commencement period.
100% less then 7 days prior to rental commencement or during period.
