Location & Area

The seaside resort of Marina di Pietrasanta and the surrounding area offer nearly 5 kms of wide, gently sloping sandy beach and transparent blue sea, set against a backdrop of pine forests and mountains, just a few km away. For those who wish to venture further, there are numerous villages and towns within easy reach.

Viareggio is one of the best known beach resorts in Tuscany, hosting the Carnevale di Viareggio, one of the biggest carnival festivals in Italy. Just 10 minutes from the residence, there are good seafood restaurants, shopping, and nightlife. 10 minutes in the other direction will bring you to Forte dei Marmi - famous for its long stretches of sandy beach and its fascinating landscape, dominated by the rugged Apuan Alps and marble quarries. Here you will also discover charming villages nestled in the numerous valleys or perched at the top of hills.

Pisa is approximately 40 minutes by car. Known throughout the world for its famous Leaning Tower (actually the bell tower for the enormous Duomo, or cathedral), Pisa is crammed full of wonderful, historic monuments and buildings dating back many hundreds of years and much of Pisa has retained its medieval appearance. The many remarkable Pisan buildings combine Moorish, Gothic and Romanesque architectural features.

Lucca, the home of Puccini is about the same distance as Pisa, and one not to be missed. A real gem, Lucca is full of arched doorways revealing vaulted passages and columns. This is a town where you can dispense with a map and simply walk or, like the locals, cycle. Why not climb one or other of the two highest bell-towers to look out on the mazy rooftops of the town or visit the many churches, including the fine Duomo with its own museum. Renowned for its concerts, which take place in the bigger piazzas during the summer, there are also plenty of galleries to keep art lovers happy.

Of course no visit to Tuscany would be complete without a visit to Florence. Known as the cradle of the Renaissance and one of the greatest cities in the world, Florence provides a feast of history, art and architecture, and you will be spoilt for choice, with the Uffizi Gallery, the Pitti Palace and the Ponte Vecchio, to name but a few.

Check-in procedure

Check- in times between 3 pm. and 7 pm. The arrival after 7 pm. can be arranged.
Breakage deposit is required Euro 100,00, which will be refunded on departure day no damage occur.

Local Supplements

Highchair and Cot with linen are available at weekly supplement of Euro 30,00 payable locally.
Animals SMALL SIZE only are admitted € 40,00 per stay.

Rental tariff includes consumes of electricity, gas, water, bedroom and bathroom linen with weekly changes, Air conditioning and Central heating, final cleaning.

Bookings / Payments: Within option expiry day 30% deposit is required in order to confirm the booking. Balance payment is due 45 days prior to arrival date.
Cancellations and Curtailments by the client: Once payment is received and voucher (Booking Confirmation) issued, any amendments or cancellations will incur the following charges:
Cancellation fees:
10% From date of confirmation, up to 45 days prior to rental commencement period.
50% 44 – 30 days prior to rental commencement period.
90% 29 – 07 days prior to rental commencement period.
100% less then 7 days prior to rental commencement or during period.
