Beautifully and comfortably furnished, this apartment is ideal for those who wish to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the Sorrentine peninsula and relax by the swimming pool amidst the lemon groves

From the electrically commanded gates of the property there are 48 steps up through owners’ side terrace, to the rear terrace of La Vigna apartment.
Entrance into corridor, to the left is the large dining / sitting room with divan bed, picture window and 2 balconies with sea views. Sliding doors separate the live-in kitchen which is well equipped with fridge / freezer, gas cooker and oven, barbecue.

La Vigna’s shared swimming pool measures 7,50 m X 4,00 m. and its depth is from 1,00 m. to 1,80 m. Owner will have the pool open as from 15 May 2010 to 02 October 2010 and from 14 May 2011 to 01 October 2011, but promised that if weather continues to hold he will not empty the pool ‘till end of October !

The property lies approx. 250 meters from the large Piazza S. Francesco and is accessed through a narrow lane. Large cars parking is on the Piazza and luggage porterage is included both on arrival and departure.
Notice : For those who choose to park in the Piazza S. Francesco parking is free of charge but not private, and on Friday morning there is a street market when vehicles have to be parked a little further away. Car Recommended.

This property is available for a minimum stay of seven nights, Saturday to Saturday only.

After the bustle and noise of the tourist centres along this coast, the position of La Vigna apartment is quiet and peaceful.
It is 2 Km. away from the main centre of Massa Lubrense with all shops, banks etc...
The nearest bus stop to Sorrento or Amalfi Coast is 900 m.
The larger, and well-known town of Sorrento is about 8 Km. from the apartment, and from here there are ferry boats and hydrofoils to Naples, Capri, Ischia, Amalfi and Positano, as well as go on mini-cruises. You must indeed take a tour of the coast from the sea.
The nearest railway station (Circumvesuviana line to Pompeii, Naples) is also in Sorrento.
The nearest beach is Marina della Lobra (5 Km.). Positano is about 16 Km. away from the property. The distance to Naples is 60 Km.
A car is recommended if you are staying in this villa, however, there are frequent and regular SITA bus service, down to Sorrento as well as to Positano and Amalfi.

Bookings / Payments: Within option expiry day 30% deposit is required in order to confirm the booking. Balance payment is due 45 days prior to arrival date.
Cancellations and Curtailments by the client: Once payment is received and voucher ( Booking Confirmation ) issued, any amendments or cancellations will incur the following charges:
Cancellation fees:
10% From date of confirmation, up to 45 days prior to rental commencement period.
50% 44 – 30 days prior to rental commencement period.
90% 29 – 07 days prior to rental commencement period.
100% less then 7 days prior to rental commencement or during period.

Check-in times between 3 pm. and 8 pm. Arrival after 8 pm. can be arranged at a charge of Euro 55,00.
Breakage deposit is required in cash only on arrival = Euro 300,00, and refunded on departure day provided no damages occur.
Final cleaning charge Euro 50,00 payable upon departure.

Highchair and Cot with linen are available at weekly supplement of Euro 55,00 payable locally.
If required Heating Euro 10,00 per day ( 6 hours ).
Welcome pack service charge Euro 10,00.

There are several ways to get to Sorrento from Naples Capodichino Airport or Naples / Train station either by renting a car or by public transport. - Sorrento Coast Transport
It is also possible to arrange private transfers from airport / train station to Massa Lubrense / property, the rates from Euro 100,00 ( pending on number of people travelling ). Ask us for quotation

Once at the property you can get around fine without the car as parking in the towns is hard to come by and expensive. Public Busses operate year-around connecting to Sorrento centre as well to the Amalfi Coast villages.
Ferries from Sorrento to Amalfi and Positano operate a service from May to October, while to Capri Island and Naples, operate all year around.
