The views are lovely from the windows and large balcony, overlooking a small beach and out to sea. 500 meters from the town centre of Amalfi, vacation apartment La Vela is on the second floor of a condominium.
Entrance into comfortable sitting/dining room and doors to the balcony, colour TV.
Kitchen fully equipped with gas cooker, oven, fridge – freezer etc..., cloak room with WC and washing machine.
1 double-bedded room with balcony, 1 twin-bedded room with balcony. Bathroom with bath tub, phone shower, WC, etc...
28 steps approx. (outdoor) from road up to building entrance - 44 steps approx. (indoor) from building gate to apartment.

Road side car park may be available (not private) in low season, although a car is not necessary as public transport is very good.
A private garage in the centre of Amalfi can be arranged at a daily rate of Euro 18,00 (pending on size of vehicle). The garage will pick-up and deliver the car at the apartment whenever guests need to use the car or drop it off. Without a car, the steps down to Amalfi and the centre are long and shallow rather than steep and are easy to negotiate.

Amalfi is located in middle of Amalfi Coast the most charming coast line in Southern Italy.
You can walk to Amalfi, either along the main road or down an ancient stairway which will allow you to avoid the nuisance of cars.
Besides being able to walk to the beach, in this area you will have a chance to swim in rather characteristic places: from the docks in Amalfi, every 30 minutes, you will be able to board small boats that will take you, in ten minutes, to some of the most beautiful beaches, wedged into the rocky coast, which can only be reached by boat. These small beaches are very romantic, the sea is beautiful, and you will also find beach facilities, such as cafès/bars and restaurants.
From the docks in Amalfi you will also be able to board ferries and hydrofoils to Positano, Capri, Salerno, Sorrento and Naples, as well as go on mini-cruises. You must indeed take a tour of the coast from the sea.
If you are fond of archaeology, Pompeii, Herculaneum and Paestum are easily within reach, and, of course, Naples and Salerno as well.

Bookings / Payments: Within option expiry day 30% deposit is required in order to confirm the booking. Balance payment is due 45 days prior to arrival date.
Cancellations and Curtailments by the client: Once payment is received and voucher ( Booking Confirmation ) issued, any amendments or cancellations will incur the following charges:
Cancellation fees:
10% From date of confirmation, up to 45 days prior to rental commencement period.
50% 44 – 30 days prior to rental commencement period.
90% 29 – 07 days prior to rental commencement period.
100% less then 7 days prior to rental commencement or during period.

Check-in times between 3 pm. and 8 pm. Arrival after 8 pm. can be arranged at a Late Arrival charge of Euro 55,00.
Breakage deposit is required in cash only on arrival - Euro 300,00, this will be refunded on departure day provided no damages occur.
Final cleaning charge Euro 50,00 payable upon departure.

Highchair and Cot with linen are available at weekly supplement of Euro 55,00 payable locally.
Private garage in the centre of Amalfi can be arranged at a daily rate of Euro 18,00 ( pending on car size ).
Welcome pack service charge Euro 10,00.

There are several ways to get to the Amalfi Coast from Naples Capodichino Airport or Naples / Salerno Train station either by renting a car or by public transport.
It is also possible to arrange private transfers directly to Amalfi/property rates from Euro 115,00 ( pending on number of people travelling ). Ask us for quotation
Once in Amalfi you can get around fine without the car as parking in the towns is hard to come by and expensive.
Pubblic Busses operate year - around connecting all the Amalfi Coast villages and Sorrento area.
Ferries ( from May to October ) operate a service between Amalfi – Positano – Sorrento – Capri Island – Naples and Salerno.
