Il Pontile is situated in the centre of Minori, along the Amalfi Coast, but only 4 Km. from Amalfi and 8 Km. from Ravello. We do to recommend having a car at this property - the nearest grocery shop, bus stop etc... is 200 m.

Minori is an enthralling small town near Amalfi, nestled on a narrow valley which stretches down to the sea, where it becomes a bay in a crescent moon shape. It is famous for its sweet specialities, and you must try the candies and desserts of its pasticcerie (bakeries) !

Staying at Il Pontile is ideal for those who wish to enjoy a beautiful and large beach, close to places of the area of great tourist interest. From Minori there are SITA buses which connect all the Amalfi Coast towns and Sorrento Coast, also ferry boats to Capri Positano and Sorrento.
From Il Pontile, those who like hiking and climbing will be able to easily reach the famous trail along the ridge of the mountains that overlook the Amalfi Coast. For its extraordinary beauty, made of precipices and breathtaking views, the trail is called “Sentiero degli Dei”: Path of the Gods.

If you are fond of archaeology, Pompeii, Herculaneum and Paestum are easily within reach, and, of course, Naples and Salerno as well.

Check-in procedure

Check-in times between 3 pm. and 8 pm. Arrival after 8 pm. can be arranged at a Late Arrival charge of Euro 55,00.
Breakage deposit is required in cash only upon arrival = Euro 300,00 and refunded on departure day provided no damages occur.

Local Supplements

Highchair and Cot with linen are available at weekly supplement of Euro 55,00 payable locally.
Welcome pack service charge Euro 10,00 - Our English speaking local agent in Italy provides a personal shopping service for food items which they deliver to the accommodation prior to your arrival. This is not a set welcome pack but is tailored to your individual requirements. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and give us your list of items including quantities. It is important to do this at least a week before your departure. You will need to pay in cash on arrival at the property, so please ensure you have taken enough Euros with you. You will be charged the local price for the goods (a receipt will be given) plus a delivery charge of 10,00 Euro.

Municipal Holiday Residence Tax payable locally in cash.

How to get there

There are several ways to get to the Amalfi Coast from Naples Capodichino Airport or Naples / Salerno Train station either by renting a car or by public transport.
It is also possible to arrange private transfer directly to Minori/properties.

Once at the property you can get around fine without the car as parking in the towns is hard to come by and expensive. Public Busses operate year-around connecting all the Amalfi Coast villages and Sorrento area.
Ferries (from May to October) operate a service between Amalfi – Positano – Sorrento – Capri Island – Naples and Salerno.

Rental tariff includes consumes of electricity, gas, water, bedroom and bathroom linen with weekly changes, Air conditioning and Central heating.

Policies & disclaimers

Bookings / Payments : Within option expiry day 30% deposit is required in order to confirm the booking. Balance payment is due 45 days prior to arrival date.
Cancellations and Curtailments by the client : Once payment is received and voucher ( Booking Confirmation ) issued, any amendments or cancellations will incur the following charges:
Cancellation fees :
10% From date of confirmation, up to 45 days prior to rental commencement period.
50% 44 – 30 days prior to rental commencement period.
90% 29 – 07 days prior to rental commencement period.
100% less then 7 days prior to rental commencement or during period.
