On a hill in a residential building, IL MARE is set on the first floor looking down to the sea and typical cliffs of the Amalfi coastline.
Outside stone steps (70) lead from road level to the gardens surrounding the building, and 20 indoor steps to the first floor of the building, bring us to the modernly furnished in typical Mediterranean style apartment.
Entrance into sitting/dining room with convertible divan bed (double), doors open to a terrace. Separate kitchen, well equipped with fridge/freezer, gas cooker with oven. Small corridor to the double bedroom with doors to terrace. Bathroom with shower, WC, etc...
70 steps approx. (outdoor) from road up to garden entrance and 20 steps approx. (indoor) from building gate up to apartment.
Washing machine - Barbecue - Air conditioning - Heating - Colour TV.
Public bus stop just round the corner.
Road side car park available (not private), although a car is not necessary as public transport is very good.

Amalfi is located in the middle of the Amalfi Coast the most charming coast line in Southern Italy.
IL MARE apartment is only 3 Km. from the main square in Amalfi, it is near to the beach and restaurants.
The nearest restaurant is about 500 meters from the apartment and nearest beach, just across the road, down approximately 400 steps to the famous little bay of Santa Croce. Alternatively you can go to the beach in Amalfi, where you will be able to find all amenities and entertainments, such as shops, banks, post office, bars and restaurants, etc... the sea is beautiful, and you will also find beach facilities, such as cafès/bars and restaurants.
From the docks in Amalfi you will also be able to board ferries and hydrofoils to Positano, Capri, Salerno, Sorrento and Naples, as well as go on mini-cruises around this magnificent coastline. You must indeed take a tour of the coast from the sea !
If you are fond of archaeology, Pompeii, Herculaneum and Paestum are easily within reach, and, of course, Naples and Salerno as well.

Bookings / Payments: Within option expiry day 30% deposit is required in order to confirm the booking. Balance payment is due 45 days prior to arrival date.
Cancellations and Curtailments by the client: Once payment is received and voucher ( Booking Confirmation ) issued, any amendments or cancellations will incur the following charges:
Cancellation fees:
10% From date of confirmation, up to 45 days prior to rental commencement period.
50% 44 – 30 days prior to rental commencement period.
90% 29 – 07 days prior to rental commencement period.
100% less then 7 days prior to rental commencement or during period.

Check-in times between 3 pm. and 8 pm. Arrival after 8 pm. can be arranged at a charge of Euro 55,00.
Breakage deposit is required in cash only Euro 300,00, and refunded on departure day provided no damages occur.
Final cleaning charge Euro 50,00 payable upon departure.

Highchair and Cot with linen are available at weekly supplement of Euro 55,00 payable locally.
If required Air conditioning/Heating Euro 1,00 per hour.
Welcome pack service charge Euro 10,00.

There are several ways to get to the Amalfi Coast from Naples Capodichino Airport or Naples / Salerno Train station either by renting a car or by public transport.
It is also possible to arrange private transfer directly to Amalfi/property rates from Euro 115,00 ( pending on number of people travelling ). Ask us for quotation
Once in Amalfi you can get around fine without the car as parking in the towns is hard to come by and expensive.
Public Busses operate year - around connecting all the Amalfi Coast villages and Sorrento area.
Ferries ( from May to October ) operate a service between Amalfi – Positano – Sorrento – Capri Island – Naples and Salerno.
