Marina del Cantone overlooks the Gulf of Salerno between the Bay of Jeranto and Recommone. It's wonderful cobblestone beach is surrounded by famous and well-equipped restaurants, bars, hotels and resorts. Unmissable ship tours are available on booking from the beach to the most popular coves of the coast, as well as the Grotta Azzurra (the blue grotto on the isle of Capri).

Marina del Cantone is reachable by bus (Sita) from Sant'Agata sui due Golfi and Massa Lubrense or by car with a nice parking area a hair's breadth away from the beach. Walking for about 10 minutes through a wonderful panoramic pedestrian path, you would reach Recommone.

At one point of the path, there's a coast guard tower dated back to XV century, which has been built to defend and protect the local population from barbarian pirate's incursions which often occurred all along the coast.

The coasts of Cantone, famous to be a good repair for Greek and Roman sailors, as well as corsairs, have helped along plenty of brave tales and famous myths: the most popular one is about the Sirens myth that, according to the legend, have been turned into the three little islands of Archipelago Li Galli.

The canton is surrounded by many lovely ancient Roman villas, and that is because in the past this area has been populated by wealthy Roman families. The reason for the opulence and prosperity of these local these families is due to a intense and dynamic attitude to the commerce that has guaranteed wealth, testified by several remains of luxury villas in Marina di Crapolla and the isle of Isca.

Check-in procedure

Check-in times between 3 pm. and 8 pm. Arrival after 8 pm. can be arranged at a Late Arrival charge of Euro 55,00.
Breakage deposit is required in cash only upon arrival = Euro 300,00, and refunded on departure day provided no damages occur.

Local Supplements

Highchair and Cot with linen are available at weekly supplement of Euro 55,00 payable locally.

This is not a set welcome pack but is tailored to your individual requirements. You will need to pay in cash on arrival at the property, so please ensure you have taken enough Euros with you. Pets ( small size ) are accepted, supplement is Euro 40,00 per week.

Municipal Holiday Residence Tax payable locally in cash.

How to get there

There are several ways to get to Termini from Naples Capodichino Airport or Naples / Train station either by renting a car or by public transport.
Sorrento Coast Transport.
It is also possible to arrange private transfers from airport / train station to Termini / property.
Ask us for quotation.

From the property, it is possible to get around fine with public Busses which operate year-around connecting to Sorrento centre as well to the Amalfi Coast villages.
Ferries from Sorrento to Amalfi – Positano operate a service from May to October, while to Capri Island and Naples, operate all year around.
Parking in the towns like Sorrento / Positano / Amalfi is hard to come by and expensive.

Rental tariff includes consumes of electricity, gas, water, bedroom and bathroom linen with weekly changes.

Policies & disclaimers

Bookings / Payments: Within option expiry day 30% deposit is required in order to confirm the booking. Balance payment is due 45 days prior to arrival date.
Cancellations and Curtailments by the client: Once payment is received and voucher ( Booking Confirmation ) issued, any amendments or cancellations will incur the following charges:
Cancellation fees:
10% From date of confirmation, up to 45 days prior to rental commencement period.
50% 44 – 30 days prior to rental commencement period.
90% 29 – 07 days prior to rental commencement period.
100% less then 7 days prior to rental commencement or during period.
