Location & Area

Casa Fiore is situated in Pontone part of the spectacular hills of Scala.
A 5 minute walk takes one to the nearest restaurant and bar, whilst groceries shops for immediate provisions and shops for every purpose, banks, etc... are a 5 minutes drive to Ravello or Scala.
Amalfi and the beaches are just a bus-ride away (15 min.).
The blue SITA buses, to Amalfi or Ravello, leaving every hour.
From Amalfi there are SITA buses connect all the Amalfi Coast towns, and also ferry boat to Capri Positano, Sorrento and Neapolitan Riviera.
If you are fond of hiking, from property there are steps all the way down to Atrani or Amalfi, with amazing views.
Pompeii, Herculaneum and Paestum are easily within reach.

Check-in procedure

Check-in time is between 3 and 8 p.m. You will be taken to the booked accommodation and will be asked for a photo copy of your Id or passport, any extras and the Breakage deposit (in cash only) Euro 300,00 – this is refunded on your departure day, less any breakages.

We strongly recommend contacting our land agents the day before or early morning of your arrival day, to let them know how you intend getting to the resort and approximate arrival time, they will in this occasion be able to advise of any local festas, roads closed etc...

Check-out time is between 06:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.

Arrival and departure times can be arranged outside these times for this service a supplement of Euro 55,00 is applied.

Local Supplements

Highchair and Cot with linen are available at weekly supplement of Euro 55,00 payable locally.
If required, Heating / Air Conditioning supplement is Euro 1,50 per hour.
Welcome pack service charge Euro 10,00 - Our English speaking local agent in Italy provides a personal shopping service for food items which they deliver to the accommodation prior to your arrival. This is not a set welcome pack but is tailored to your individual requirements. If you are interested in this option, please contact us via email at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and give us your list of items including quantities. It is important to do this at least a week before your departure. You will need to pay in cash on arrival at the property, so please ensure you have taken enough Euros with you. You will be charged the local price for the goods (a receipt will be given) plus a delivery charge of 10,00 Euro.

Municipal Holiday Residence Tax payable locally in cash.
Final cleaning charge = Euro 50,00 payable upon departure.

How to get there

There are several ways to get to Scala - Pontone / Amalfi Coast from Naples Capodichino Airport or Naples / Salerno Train station either by renting a car or by public transport.
Also possible to arrange private transfer directly to Scala - Pontone/property.
Ask us for quotation.
Once at the property you can get around fine without the car as parking in the towns is hard to come by and expensive.
Public Busses operate year-around connecting Ravello to Amalfi, where are busses to all the Amalfi Coast villages and Sorrento area.
Ferries ( from May to October ) operate a service between Amalfi – Positano – Sorrento – Capri Island – Naples and Salerno.

Policies & disclaimers

Bookings / Payments: Within option expiry day 30% deposit is required in order to confirm the booking. Balance payment is due 45 days prior to arrival date.
Cancellations and Curtailments by the client: Once payment is received and voucher ( Booking Confirmation ) issued, any amendments or cancellations will incur the following charges:
Cancellation fees:
10% Of full amount from date of confirmation, up to 45 days prior to rental commencement period.
50% Of full amount 44 – 30 days prior to rental commencement period.
90% Of full amount 29 – 07 days prior to rental commencement period.
100% Of full amount less than 7 days prior to rental commencement or during period.
