Casa Annalisa, approx. 100 sqm, is a lovely two bedroom mansarded apartment which comfortably sleeps 4 persons and features a large terrace with a view of the surrounding hills, the sea and the Isle of Capri.
The apartment has air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating, mosquito nets, car park. The lower floor of the villa hosts the owners of the property, a nice couple who like to cherish their guests and are very respectful of their privacy.
The ceiling of the living room and master double bedroom is sloping and has characteristic exposed wood beams. The furnishings are simple and comfortable. In the living room you will also find a large open plan fully equipped kitchen / dining area. The kitchen is equipped with a five-burner gas cooker, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, an Italian-style coffee-maker and a toaster. The dining table can accommodate six guests. In this room you will find a satellite television. From the living room you will be able to enter the terrace through a double-glazed French door. The room is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
In the master double bedroom the ceiling is sloping, has characteristic exposed wood beams and has an height of 2.70 meters (8.8 feet) at its highest point and of 1.60 meters (5.2 feet) at its lowest point. From this double / master bedroom you will be able to enter the terrace through a double-glazed French door. The room is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
The second bedroom also has a double bed, but can be changed into two single beds (80 cm/32 inches), if requested. This bedroom has a window and is equipped with a heating unit.
The bathroom has a bath tub with shower wand, a washbasin, a toilet and washing machine.
Casa Annalisa can be reached through a narrow and ancient country road, approximately 800 meters (870 yards) long. This road was built centuries ago, when the only transportation was provided by one´s own feet and perhaps a mule. The purpose of the road was to provide a short path among the fruit trees to reach the property. Hard to believe, the road has been left just the way it was, with its characteristic stone wall on the edges, except for the pavement that has been improved to let a very small car go through. Because of the small size of the road large cars can only be parked at the front of the villa in a designated parking area, and therefore guests must then climb up approx. 100 steps to the apartment.
Casa Annalisa offers a relaxing stay in a quiet and cute country house, amidst the famous grapevines, olive and lemon trees of the coast of Sorrento.

After the bustle and noise of the tourist centres along this coast, the position of Casa Annalisa is quiet and peaceful.
It is 4 Km. from the little town of Massa Lubrense where you can find the nearest Banks and post office. The bus stop is only 200 m away and the centre of the nearby little hamlet of Monticchio is a mere 1Km away with restaurants, chemist, shops, and other amenities.
The delightful little town of Massa Lubrense and its territory is virtually triangular in shape, its north-eastern side borders with Sorrento, whilst the other two sides are formed by the Gulf of Salerno and the Bay of Naples, with Punta Campanella at its vertex, facing the island of Capri.
From the administrative point of view, apart from the main town there are another seventeen villages which have developed from the ancient hamlets and are still linked by an intricate network of paths, mule tracks and lanes as well as by the main roads.
One of these villages is Sant´Agata Sui Due Golfi, its name says everything about the breathtaking views which it enjoys over both the Bay of Naples and Salerno.
Not to miss is a visit to the old fishing village of Nerano, Marina Del Cantone, that has become a pleasant beach resort, without spoiling the original atmosphere, you can still buy from local fisherman, fresh fish for your own kitchen or to be cooked in one of the nearby restaurants.
The establishment of the Marine Protected Area “Punta Campanella” has the aim to preserve one of the most beautiful and rich stretches of Italian coast from a naturalistic point of view, both for the terrestrial and for the underwater environment.
The 40 Km of coasts of the Peninsula Sorrentina are a succession of green promontories and welcoming inlets: the Baia di Ieranto is famous, since it offers to the visitor a unique landscape.
Despite the continuous spoils which mainly took place in the last half of the century, the seabed of the peninsula is still rich in precious evidences of the ancient trade activities involving the area. According to historical documents, we know that a Roman fleet with Julius Caesar wrecked near Punta and many ships sank.

The larger, and well-known town of Sorrento is about 9 Km. from the Villa, and from here there are ferry boats and hydrofoils to Naples, Capri, Ischia, Amalfi and Positano, as well as go on mini-cruises. You must indeed take a tour of the coast from the sea.
The nearest railway station (Circumvesuviana line to Pompeii, Naples) is also in Sorrento.
The nearest beach is the pebble beach of Marina del Cantone (8 Km.), below the village of Nerano. The Amalfi Coast / Positano is about 14 Km. away from Casa Annalisa. The distance to Naples is 60 Km.
A car is recommended if you are staying in this property. However there are frequent and regular SITA bus service, down to Sorrento as well as to Positano and Amalfi.
Check-in time is between 3 and 8 p.m. You will be met and taken to the booked accommodation, asked for a photo copy of your Id or passport, any extras and the Breakage deposit (in cash only in any currencies) Euro 300,00 – this is refunded on your departure day, less any breakages.
We strongly recommend contacting our land agents the day before or early morning of your arrival day, to let them know how you intend getting to the resort and approximate arrival time, they will in this occasion be able to advise of any local festas, roads closed etc...
Check-out time is between 07:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.
Arrival and departure times can be arranged outside these times for this service a supplement of Euro 55,00 is applied.

There are several ways to get to Sant´Agata / Massa Lubrense from Naples Capodichino Airport or Naples Train station either by renting a car or by public transport. It is also possible to arrange private transfer directly to the your property. Ask us for quotation.
Once at the property you can get around fine without the car as parking in the towns is hard to come by and expensive. Public Busses operate year-around connecting Marine del Cantone to Massa Lubrense and Sorrento, where are busses to all the Amalfi Coast villages and Sorrento area. Ferries from Sorrento (from May to October) operate a service between Amalfi - Positano - Capri Island - Naples.
Rental tariff includes consumes of gas, water, bedroom and bathroom linen with weekly changes.
Bookings / Payments: Within option expiry day 30% deposit is required in order to confirm the booking. Balance payment is due 45 days prior to arrival date.
Cancellations and Curtailments by the client: Once payment is received and voucher (Booking Confirmation) issued, any amendments or cancellations will incur the following charges:
10% Of full rental amount from date of confirmation, up to 45 days prior to rental commencement period.
50% Of full rental amount 44 – 30 days prior to rental commencement period.
90% Of full rental amount 29 – 07 days prior to rental commencement period.
100% Full rental amount less than 7 days prior to rental commencement or during period.
