Casa Raffaella is located in the heart of the historical centre of Praiano, which is an ancient fishermen's village located halfway between Amalfi and Positano, and made up of a cluster of small white houses that cling to the rocky cliff, just a few steps from the Piazzetta Gagliano and from the cathedral of San Gennaro. Access to the vacation apartment Casa Raffaella is by climbing 20 steps from the main road and walking through a tiny yard, shared with owner’s house.
Entrance into immaculate large lounge / sitting room with a divan bed for two, and well equipped open plan kitchen. The house is white and very bright. It is set in picturesque surroundings with small houses built by following the shape of the road and the rocky coast.
From the double bedroom, doors open onto the most enchanting little terrace - with views of the sea and rocky coast, over the road; you will see only this coastline, which steeply goes down, towards the sea.

You will be able to reach Casa Raffaella by bus.
The stop, both for the local bus and for the out-of-town bus, is just a few steps from the stairway that leads to the apartment.
You will not need a car and we do not recommend having one!

Casa Raffaella is near to shops and restaurants.
From the dock in Positano ( about 7 Km. ) you will also be able to board ferries and hydrofoils to Amalfi, Capri, Sorrento and Naples, as well as go on mini-cruises.
If you are fond of archaeology, Pompeii, Herculaneum and Paestum are easily within reach, and, of course, Naples and Salerno as well.
You will be able to walk to the sea and to a characteristic beach cut into the cliff (called "La Gavitella") along a path that includes approximately 400 steps.
A bit further away, at approximately 1.5 Km. you will find the beautiful beach of Praia, which can be reached by bus, and where you will be able to rent small boats and take diving classes. During the Summer season cafes and restaurants are open at both beaches.
If you like hiking, in the area you will find walks that are famous for their extraordinary beauty, such as the "Sentiero degli Dei": Path of the Gods.
Casa Raffaella is the right choice if you are looking for a central and comfortable place and for the most authentic charm of the Amalfi Coast. Those who like go out at night will find that the Amalfi Coast has a lot to offer: from piano-bars to very exclusive night clubs.

Bookings / Payments: Within option expiry day 30% deposit is required in order to confirm the booking. Balance payment is due 45 days prior to arrival date.
Cancellations and Curtailments by the client: Once payment is received and voucher ( Booking Confirmation ) issued, any amendments or cancellations will incur the following charges:

10% From date of confirmation, up to 45 days prior to rental commencement period.
50% 44 – 30 days prior to rental commencement period.
90% 29 – 07 days prior to rental commencement period.
100% less then 7 days prior to rental commencement or during period.

Check-in times between 3 pm. and 8 pm. Arrival after 8 pm. can be arranged at a Late Arrival charge of Euro 55,00.
Breakage deposit is required in cash only upon arrival = Euro 300,00, and refunded on departure day provided no damages occur.
Final cleaning charge = Euro 50,00 payable up on departure.

Highchair and Cot with linen are available at weekly supplement of Euro 52,00 payable locally.
If required, Heating / Air Conditioning supplement is Euro 0,40 per Kw.
Welcome pack service charge Euro 10,00.

The are several ways to get to the Amalfi Coast from Naples Capodichino Airport or Naples / Salerno Train station either by renting a car or by public transport.
Also possible to arrange private transfer directly to Praiano / property rates from Euro 115,00 ( pending on number of people travelling ). Ask us for quotation

Once at the property you can get around fine without the car as parking in the towns is hard to come by and expensive. Pubblic Busses operate year-around connecting all the Amalfi Coast villages and Sorrento area.
Ferries ( from May to October ) operate a service between Amalfi – Positano – Sorrento – Capri Island – Naples and Salerno.
