Alfonso a Mare is situated in Praiano (Hunesco Heritage Site). On the Amalfi coast, a Viking in the land of the Saracens... The inlet is set as in going from antique lace on the Amalfi Coast. And the earth knows the sea. A fatal contamination, when the boundaries are uncertain. It 'a contested space, divided in half between the towns of Praiano and Furore, which gives or takes its name. The road runs high La Praia, unexpected on the ramp that leads headlong into the water and the village as to close it. Intact the authentic taste and humble fishing village. A few houses clinging to the rock from the sun and limed. Over the shore fishing boats at rest on the porch and full-bodied and fresh, "Alfonso a Mare", more than half a century in business and historical presence here. When staying at Alfonso a Mare you will not be centrally located, but at the same time away from the tourist hustle and bustle. Situated on the sea in Praiano.
Situated in one of the most beautiful and characteristic small bays of the area, in the small village of Praiano, the hotel overlooks the picturesque beach of La Praia.

Praiano is the last remaining mariner's village of the coast, at just 7 km from Amalfi and Positano, the hotel is also just a few steps away from the crystal-clear sea. During your stay you can take advantage of the hotel’s facilities, including: a solarium with bar service, pedal boats, wooden rowing boats (all used to reveal hidden beaches, paradise corners and unexpected grottos), a scuba diving centre with modern equipments to discover the precious depth of the sea and daily departures to Positano, Amalfi, Capri and for all the other localities of the Amalfi Coast and Neapolitan Riviera. You must indeed take a tour of the coast from the sea.
If you are fond of archaeology, Pompeii, Herculaneum and Paestum are easily within reach, and, of course, Naples and Salerno as well.

How to get there

There are several ways to get to the Amalfi Coast from Naples Capodichino Airport or Naples/Salerno Train station either by renting a car or by public transport.
It is also possible to arrange private transfer directly to Praiano/property.

Once at the property you can get around fine without the car as parking in the towns is hard to come by and expensive. Public Busses operate year - around connecting all the Amalfi Coast villages and Sorrento area.
Ferries (from May to October) operate a service between Amalfi – Positano – Sorrento – Capri Island – Naples and Salerno.

Bookings / Payments: Within option expiry day 30% deposit is required in order to confirm the booking. Balance payment is due 45 days prior to arrival date.
Cancellations and Curtailments by the client: Once payment is received and voucher (Booking Confirmation) issued, any amendments or cancellations will incur the following charges:

10% From date of confirmation, up to 45 days prior to rental commencement period.
50% 44 – 30 days prior to rental commencement period.
90% 29 – 07 days prior to rental commencement period.
100% less then 7 days prior to rental commencement or during period.
