Villa Aceto is the lower floor of a beautiful old building surrounded by greenery situated in a scenic, residential area, roughly 1 Km. above the town centre of Minori - a quaint village with lovely beach along the Amalfi Coast.

Entrance to the house is through a wrought iron gate bedecked by climbing plants. After climbing a few steps (approx. 18) from the road side parking you would be walking along a tiled garden, beneath a pergola made of lemon trees, and arrive at a terrace tiled in terracotta and equipped with table and chairs. This terrace is full of sunshine with a view of Minori and in the distance the sea. It will be a pleasure to relax out there and have breakfast under the lemon pergola in the fresh morning air or to have al fresco dinner during the mild sunset hours. This terrace allows you access to the living room and kitchen.

The living room is paved with lucid sky-blue tiles. The furnishings are warm and welcoming. They include a divan bed for one guest and a desk. In this room you will find a flat-screen television and a laptop computer. From the living room you will be able to enter the second terrace through a French door. Here you will also find a mini refrigerator.

Villa Aceto has two lovely double bedrooms - you will be able to enter the first bedroom from the dining room. It has a double bed, a flat-screen television, small fridge. From this bedroom you will be able to enter a small balcony overlooking the street below through a French door. The room has a window overlooking the second terrace. Entrance to the second bedroom is from the corridor. It has a double bed, a flat-screen television. The room has a window overlooking the second terrace. Here you will also find a mini refrigerator.
The rooms have majolica floors and are tastefully furnished in blue and white. The balconies have wooden shutters. All the rooms have satellite Tv and central heating. The bathrooms are covered in elegant green and white majolica, one of them has a Jacuzzi, while the other has a shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with a cooker, an oven, a fridge / freezer, a washing machine, Italian coffee maker and a microwave oven.

The pleasurable surprises of this house are not yet finished! from two of the bedrooms you can reach another garden tiled in terracotta, where sun beds are waiting for you. This garden is partially shaded by lemon pergola and has a wide panorama of Minori and the sea.

The stay at Villa Aceto is ideal for those who wish to spend their time on a beautiful beach and at the same time be near the local attractions, such as Amalfi, Positano, Capri, Sorrento, Pompeii, Paestum and others.

Location & Area

Villa Aceto is situated in Minori, along the Amalfi Coast, but only 5 Km. from Amalfi and 9 Km. from Ravello. We do recommend having a car at this property - the nearest grocery shop, bus stop etc... is 1.5 Km.

From Minori there are SITA buses which connect all the Amalfi Coast towns and Sorrento Coast, also ferry boats to Capri Positano and Sorrento.
For the more enthusiastic walkers, steps lead all the way down to the town centre of Minori!
From Villa Aceto, those who like hiking and climbing will be able to easily reach the famous trail along the ridge of the mountains that overlook the Amalfi Coast. For its extraordinary beauty, made of precipices and breathtaking views, the trail is called “Sentiero degli Dei”: Path of the Gods.

If you are fond of archaeology, Pompeii, Herculaneum and Paestum are easily within reach, and, of course, Naples and Salerno as well.

Check-in procedure

Check-in times between 3 pm. and 8 pm. Arrival after 8 pm. can be arranged at a Late Arrival charge of Euro 55,00.
Breakage deposit is required in cash only upon arrival = Euro 300,00 and refunded on departure day provided no damages occur.

Highchair and Cot with linen are available at weekly supplement of Euro 55,00 payable locally.
Welcome pack service charge Euro 10,00 - Our English speaking local agent in Italy provides a personal shopping service for food items which they deliver to the accommodation prior to your arrival. This is not a set welcome pack but is tailored to your individual requirements. If you are interested in this option, please contact us via email at reservations@villarentalhols.com and give us your list of items including quantities. It is important to do this at least a week before your departure. You will need to pay in cash on arrival at the property, so please ensure you have taken enough Euros with you. You will be charged the local price for the goods (a receipt will be given) plus a delivery charge of 10,00 Euro.

How to get there

There are several ways to get to the Amalfi Coast from Naples Capodichino Airport or Naples / Salerno Train station either by renting a car or by public transport.
It is also possible to arrange private transfer directly to Minori/properties. Ask us for quotation
Once at the property you can get around fine without the car as parking in the towns is hard to come by and expensive. Public Busses operate year-around connecting all the Amalfi Coast villages and Sorrento area.
Ferries ( from May to October ) operate a service between Amalfi – Positano – Sorrento – Capri Island – Naples and Salerno.
