Apartment - Sorrento - Sorrento Coast

Italia, is a duplex apartment, on the third floor of an antique building in the centre of Sorrento. It is situated on the main street, 50 meters from the most popular Piazza Veniero. It is suitable for four people and has air conditioning.
You enter directly into the lounge / dining room with open plan fully fitted kitchen with gas cooker, an oven and a fridge.
There are two bedrooms, a double and a twin. The double bedroom has a balcony that overlooks the Via Degli Aranci street and is shaded by a blind.
From the lounge area there is a steel and wooden staircase which leads to the twin bedroom this has a mansarded roof ( max height is 1.70 m. ).
The bathroom has a shower. The apartment has been renovated in 2010 with great care and taste and is furnished in an elegant and pleasing way. There is central heating, air conditioning, Wi-Fi / internet and TV. There is a public car park 200 meters awayas well as a Laundromat.
A car is not necessary because the bus stop is 50 meters away and the station for the local train is 1.500 metres away. The beach facilities are located about 500 meters away from the centre of Sorrento.
The Cathedral, the Kiosk of S. Francis, and the public park are only a stroll away. The park has gardens which lead you to the sea, and from there you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Gulf of Naples, from the island of Procida to Mount Vesuvius. You can also enjoy a walk along the elegant main street or through the narrow alleyways of the historical part of town, which are rich with local craft shops.
Apartment Italia will be your home base for enjoying the incomparable beauty of Sorrento, the Sorrento Coast, of Capri and other islands, of the Amalfi Coast and Naples.
You can get to these famous places either by ferry or organised tourist trips. By train you can easily visit Pompeii, Vesuvius, the Caserta Palace and other attractions.
Should there be more than 4 persons, extra rooms are available on the second floor of the building at Relais Italia Bed and Bed. You can be sure of an unforgettable holiday !

Location & Area
Italia apartment is located in the heart of Sorrento, the main square is only a few metres away as well as shops, restaurants, bar (Guarracino Fruit Bar) etc...
The tourist port of Sorrento is Km 2 away, where it's possible to take day trips with fast, comfortable and inexpensive ferries to Capri and the other islands of the Gulf, to Amalfi and Positano.
It is a convenient base for visiting other famous attractions: Pompei, Capri, Napoli, Paestum, and Amalfi Coast.
Check-in procedure
Check-in times between 3 pm. and 8 pm. Arrivals after 8 pm. can be arranged at a charge of Euro 55,00.
Breakage deposit is required Euro 300,00, this will be refunded on departure day provided no damages occur.
Local Supplements
Highchair and Cot with linen are available at weekly supplement of Euro 55,00 payable locally.
A private parking 200 m. from the apartment can be arranged at a daily rate of Euro 15,00 (pending on car size).
Welcome pack service charge Euro 10,00 - Our English speaking local agent in Italy provides a personal shopping service for food items which they deliver to the accommodation prior to your arrival. This is not a set welcome pack but is tailored to your individual requirements. If you are interested in this option, please contact us via email at reservations@villarentalhols.com and give us your list of items including quantities. It is important to do this at least a week before your departure. You will need to pay in cash on arrival at the property, so please ensure you have taken enough Euros with you. You will be charged the local price for the goods (a receipt will be given) plus a delivery charge of 10,00 Euro.

How to get there
Sorrento is easy to reach from Naples Capodichino Airport or Naples Train station either by renting a car (motorway A3) or by public transport. - Sorrento Coast Transport
It is also possible to arrange private transfers from airport / train station to Sorrento / property. Ask us for quotation
Once at the property you can get around fine with public Busses (bus stop at 20 m.) which operate year-around connecting to the Amalfi Coast villages.
The station for the local Circumvesuviana train (operates between Naples and Sorrento) is 1,5 Km. away.
Ferries from Sorrento to Amalfi – Positano operate a service from May to October, while to Capri Island and Naples, operate all year around.
Parking in the towns like Positano / Amalfi is hard to come by and expensive.
